People make AI sound complicated.
It’s not.
All you gotta do is listen to the experts; they have it all figured out.
That’s how we know that…
1. Prompt engineering is a critical, useless skill
There is no two ways around it: If you want to get ahead of the 99%, you'd better master prompt engineering, fast. It’s the skill of the future.
Have you mastered it yet?
Good, now forget about it, because prompt engineering is dead. AI models can prompt themselves more effectively than your dumb human brain ever could.
2. AI boosts and destroys creativity
If there’s one thing we know, it’s that AI is a powerful “creative engine” that spurs innovation and “promotes divergent thinking.”
If there are two things we know, it’s that AI can “hinder independent creative performance” and lead to the “potential death of human creativity.”
So please, stop relying on AI while always using it for inspiration and creative work.
3. AI will make you indispensable, then take your job
I bet you’ve heard this a million times: “AI won’t replace humans, but humans with AI will replace humans without AI.”
It’s true!
So learn AI today to secure your job’s future tomorrow.
But only if you take “tomorrow” literally, because in 10 years, we won’t even need humans for most things.

4. AI is a short-lived fad with long-term impact
Then again, you probably shouldn’t worry too much.
AI is just an overhyped bubble that’ll pop at any moment.
Once the dust settles, you’ll see that AI was nothing but a tiny drop in the bucket, boosting the global GDP by 4 percent and becoming a $4.8-trillion “dominant frontier technology” by 2033.
Poof!
5. AI is an objective, unreliable arbiter of truth
Humans are notoriously prejudiced. All of them. It’s in their nature.
That’s why, “if you want the bias out, get the algorithms in.”
AI will help us make quick and accurate decisions…
…just as soon as we figure out how to stop AI bias, which is making us more biased.
6. Google is dead and leads the way in AI
Fact: ChatGPT famously killed Google in early 2023.
Now, what little remains of Google has to settle for scraps like having the world’s best reasoning model, one of the best small models, and top-tier AI models in image, video, and music.
Google must be rolling in its grave in shame.
7. AI will increase our carbon footprint and solve climate change
AI drives up demand for data centers, which consume more water and electricity and increase our carbon emissions.
Luckily, there’s something that can save us from this AI-induced fate: AI.
AI-driven sustainability initiatives show promise, so there’s little doubt that AI “can mitigate climate risks.”
Maybe.
8. AI must be regulated, so just let it be
AI is too powerful. Existentially so.
Regulation is the best way to ensure AI is developed safely and ethically.
Our next step is obvious: Leave AI alone.
Regulating AI could stifle innovation and suppress free expression.
You don’t want to suppress free expression, do you?
Sshhh, don’t speak.
9. AGI is a myth that’s just around the corner
Here’s the thing: Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is a pipe dream.
In fact, it’s mostly an unfortunate distraction from more pressing, real issues.
So clear your calendar for 2030, because that’s when AGI is coming.
But boy, will your face be red when AGI actually arrives in 2027 and catches you off guard.
10. ASI will usher in utopia by killing us all
Anyway, AGI is small potatoes.
Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) is where it’s at.
When AI becomes smarter than us, it’ll solve every problem we’ve ever had.
Disease? Gone!
Poverty? Gone!
Loud videos that autoplay when you’re scrolling through Facebook at night next to your sleeping wife? Gone!
You know what else will be gone? Humans.
If ASI doesn’t kill us on purpose, it might just kill us accidentally.
Then again, it’s hard to have disease, poverty, and loud Facebook videos without humans. So, success?
Spread the word, but don’t tell anyone
So there you have it: Crystal-clear consensus takes from the proverbial horses’ mouths.
You now know everything there’s to know about AI and also nothing at all.
